Hi Jon, Thanks for your reply. You are exactly right with your assessment. Further feedback from them is that QClear and SharpIR are the scenarios where small lesions have SUV overshoot. So they are hesitant to use those to increase SNR. SUV</div>

<div>Hello,</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I have a customer who has received delivery of a GE Discovery IQ PET/CT 5 ring system. Their PET radiologist is unhappy with the BGO system's PET image quality for medium to large patients. I was hoping someone out there with a 3 or 5 ring PET/CT system
could share their experience and maybe some protocol details with me to pass along.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Particular concerns involve SUV overshoot when detecting small lesions. Also the image quality on medium to large adults is noisy and unsatisfactory. Some things we've been trying to improve image quality are below:</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>1. Try turning on Q.Clear with Beta values of 200, 250, and 300</div>
<div>2. Increase bed overlap from 19 slices to 35 slices.</div>
<div>3. Changing bedstop acquisition time to 200 seconds or 400 seconds per bed stop for medium to large patients.</div>
<div>4. Using Z-axis standard for small to medium patients and Heavy for larger patients.</div>
<div>5. using Sharp IR</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>They are still struggling with image quality and SUV accuracy.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Additionally the radiologist appears doubtful whether this scanner will be effective for imaging PSMA or Dotatate studies.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I do not have much experience on this scanner platform so I would appreciate any assistance.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Thanks,</div>
