I am not sure of the limitations on separation of scan room and equipment room. Typically, they are adjacent so that the filter or penetration panel is accessible in both rooms. Would a long distance between the two rooms increase the inductance of the gradients?
In this case the penetration panel will be above the operator and above the ceiling tiles. So it will not be eadily accessible. I have one site like that and it works. One annoying feature is that the gradient cables have a fan on them which the operator has
to listen to all the time. </div>
