<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The response I have gotten from GE is more less ‘Yes, that how it works and the technologist needs to manually calculate the SNR deviation’. This is entirely unsatisfying to me.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">To my knowledge, we were not informed of this behavior when the software was updated to these versions. Prior versions correctly calculated SNR deviation as well as newer versions. The QC manual does not
explicitly state the need to manually calculate this value, but says “Check that all results pass and record them or export them later”, which the IQ tool does report a value (though incorrect) and a “Pass” for this test. There is no place on the QC forms
to record the baseline SNR from which the techs need calculate the deviation, implying to me that it’s not really the intended expectation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">To me, this seems like a bug that GE knows about, but their failure to communicate it to us has caused us to technically not be in compliance with their QC program as the techs have just been accepting the
incorrectly reported value and subsequent ‘Pass’.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
