automatic forwarding to a DICOM service which processes and then sends to ZapIT. In about 2 minutes, the tech can open a ZapIT session, run the daily water/uniformity test, and the results are populated from the analysis program. There is also full control
to open and examine the images, with full DICOM headers and ROI/distance measurement tools for making manual verifications. It is platform agnostic (we send both GE and Siemens test images), and because in NJ we have to keep the images for 30 days we have
permanent retention in ZapIT.
