[Hidl-announce] Partnership and contribution to the NSF-Awarded AI-Institute on Intelligent Cyberinfrastructure (ICICLE)

The High-Performance Deep Learning project, together with the MVAPICH
(http://mvapich.cse.ohio-state.edu/) and High-Performance Big Data
(hibd.cse.ohio-state.edu) projects from the OSU Network-Based Computing
Laboratory will be actively contributing to the $20M AI-Institute on Intelligent
Cyberinfrastructure, announced by U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) today
(https://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=303176). Prof. Dhabaleswar K.
(DK) Panda from the Ohio State University will be leading the overall institute
with a core team of 46 academic researchers and scientists from 13
organizations. More details on the ICICLE institute are available from

A special session on the ICICLE will be held at the 9th Annual MVAPICH User
Group (MUG) Conference (http://mug.mvapich.cse.ohio-state.edu/). The MUG '21
