<span lang="HE" dir="RTL" style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">יריד-</span><span dir="LTR"></span><span dir="LTR"></span>, a sheva under the first yod. The Alcalay at my desk (1996) has two forms of entry, the first with a kamats followed by the form with
a sheva, and the word with a sheva in the case of semikhut. (Morfix online has only with a kamats.) Are we considering this a changed Romanization? Is it now “Yerid omanut Yehudit” and “Yerid ha-ben-leʼumi le-Yudaʼiḳah”, as opposed to the former “Yerid
omanut Yehudit” and “Yarid ha-ben-leʼumi le-Yudaʼiḳah”?<o:p></o:p></p>
