As I understand it, when added in parenthesis the date is needed as part of the access point for differentiation; in $f it's just added for the sake of extra information.<br>

It doesn’t look like many NACO catalogers understand this from the disparity between the number of correctly coded records and the incorrectly coded ones.   Do we need somehow to do a better job of teaching this?  Do we need a project to clean up all the incorrectly


 coded Works. Selections RDA access points?  Or does it not matter?</p>
