<P>From what I can tell there is no MARC Language code for Samaritan Hebrew, only Samaritan Arabic. </P>

<P>A search under Bible. O.T. combined with the language Samaritan Aramaic brings up many titles in OCLC. This list includes both Samaritan Aramaic and Hebrew Samaritan among others in the delimiter "l" field of the uniform title. </P>

<P>Clearly there is a great deal of confusion in the correct way to present Samaritan Hebrew and Samaritan Aramaic texts of the Ḥumash bibliographicallly with a lack of consistency between LCSH and the MARC Organizational codes.</P>
<P> </P>
<P>Like, Joan I am not an expert in this area but it does seem there is work that needs to be done to enable correct bibliographic description of Samaritan biblical and other texts.</P>
