RDA calls any title a "parallel title" which is equivalent to the title proper in another language and/or script, whether or not it appears in the same source as the title proper. In fact the AACR2 official definition was just the same, but we didn't apply it so widely. The practical result is that we see a lot more parallel titles in RDA, and all of them have to be recorded in the 245.

It's not much use looking at the so-called "examples" in RDA, because they only show you one "element" (usually, "subfield") at a time and don't give any information about how to hook them together.
