For what it's worth, the Israel Union List record from NNL equates
ha-R.M., shelita with Yonatan David David. I can't speak for the
reliability of that information, only that it's there.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am currently cataloging <i>Ma'amre Rosh
ha-Shanah</i> (lccn: 2011425444). In a note to the reader,
it states that these words were heard in the Bet ha-midrash of
the Mesivta Rabenu Hayim Berlin and Kolel Gur Aryeh from the
mouth of Maran ha-R. M., shelita and that within them are
brought the Torah words of the Baal "Pahad Yitshak." I know
that the Baal "Pahad Yitshak" is Rav Hutner. None of the
current roshe ha-yeshivah have M. as a first initial.
However, the current mashgiah ruhani is Mordekhai Zelig
Shechter. Do people think he is the author of the work? If
not, can someone tell me who Maran ha-R. M. might be? <o:p></o:p></p>
