Hello CaGIS Community:<br><br>
It is with pleasure that I announce the annual CaGIS student scholarship
awards. There is an award for masters students and an award for doctoral
students who are pursing cartography or GIScience research. To apply,
each student must complete an application form (available on the CaGIS
student scholarship webpage), a 400-word statement of educational
objectives, a digital transcript of coursework, and a letter of
recommendation from a faculty member. These materials must be
emailed to

Please encourage your graduate students to apply for these awards. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student to receive recognition for their cartographic or GIScience research.<br><br>
