<span style="font-size: 16px;">The Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies and the Department of English are hosting a creative writing workshop with bestselling author Genevieve Gornichec as a warmup to her public lecture on the following day. Graduates,
undergraduates, faculty and staff are all invited. Gornichec's debut novel, <i>
<a href="https://genevievegornichec.com/the-witchs-heart" id="OWA52ebcd0e-6259-a08d-5c2c-48778ef14b0f" class="x_OWAAutoLink" data-loopstyle="linkonly" data-auth="NotApplicable">The Witch’s Heart</a></i>, was released in 2021 and has been translated into over
a dozen languages. Her sophomore novel, <i><a href="https://genevievegornichec.com/the-weaver-and-the-witch-queen" id="OWA9220e138-d2b4-5358-c33d-873ca59c70e4" class="x_OWAAutoLink" data-loopstyle="linkonly" data-auth="NotApplicable">The Weaver and the Witch
Queen</a>, </i>was released in 2023. The workshop will be held on Thursday, April 4 from 3 to 5 pm in 455 Hagerty Hall.</span></div>
