<a href="https://www.alexandramcnichols-torroledo.com/">Alexandra McNichols-Torroledo</a> will give a lecture on campus this
<b>Thursday, Nov. 3, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm</b> in the Barnett Center Collaboratory (Sullivant Hall 141). This event is made possible by an Artist Trajectory Grant from the Colombian Ministry of Culture, as well as support from Indiana University’s Center for
 Latin American & Caribbean Studies. </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"><br>

<span class="apple-converted-space">Alexandra’s lecture will showcase her photography printed on coca paper and will feature discussion about how Indigenous communities of the Amazon are affected by deforestation and the so-called Global War on Drugs. Following
 the lecture, we will hold a mini-reception (12:30 - 1 pm) to meet the artist and socialize. More details
