Subject: 25% GTA needed
Dear Dorry,

My apologies for any duplicate emails, but History is looking to fill several PT GTA positions, including one for my History 3254: Europe Since 1950: >From the Iron Curtain to Fortress Europe, which takes place on WF, 11:10am-12:30pm.

I wonder if you might forward this email, with the information below, to any graduate students in Comparative Studies or Folklore who might be interested in this position? It is a super fun class, capped at 40 students, which would make for a good way to supplement one’s income.

The Department of History seeks to fill several 25% GTA appointments. The appointments are open to any graduate student with 50% or less FTE (please note that international students are not permitted to be hired above 50% FTE, therefore, if you are an international student with a current 50% FTE appointment, you are not eligible for these positions), and duties include grading for approximately 30 students for roughly 10 hours per week, with a monthly stipend of $1,182.50. If you are interested in any of these 25% appointments, please reach out to Ashley Bowerman (Bowerman.14 at osu.edu<mailto:Bowerman.14 at osu.edu>) with your CV and a list of any previous GTA experience by 12pm (noon) on Monday, August 21.

Many thanks for your help ,

Theodora
