As part of the joint project on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and Arts & Humanities, the Humanities Institute is proud to announce this upcoming symposium—Is AI Justice Possible?



This symposium was prompted by a discussion conveyed by the deans last fall among faculty from the College of Engineering and the College of Arts & Sciences. Many of you were part of that conversation. The theme of AI Justice emerged from it as a topic that could evoke interesting and provocative statements from scholars, artists, and engineers from across the country. Six speakers will address our theme from their different perspectives in two sessions on Friday, September 22 at the Ohio Union.

Is AI Justice Possible? A Symposium Sponsored by the Humanities Institute and the College of Arts and Sciences The Humanities Institute is partnering with the College of Arts and Sciences to present a day-long symposium on justice and artificial intelligence. The day will feature six speakers, a selection of artists, engineers and humanists who have contributed to the national conversation on AI. The day will have two sessions- one from 10 am to noon and the second from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
