Subject: CSR's No More Than a Page with Prof. Urban - This Thursday, 10/6
Dear All,

This is a friendly reminder that the Center for the Study of Religion will be hosting the first portion of it’s No More Than a Page series this Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022 in Hagerty 198 from 4-5pm. Registration is not required. If you haven’t attended one of our NMTAP events before, it’s an informal gathering of sorts where a faculty member or graduate student shares some of the work they’ve been doing and invites feedback and discussion from the audience. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our faculty, students, and affiliates a bit better, and the event is of course free and open to the public, so we encourage everyone who can to attend!

This Thursday, we will be featuring the work of Dr. Hugh B. Urban, Distinguished Professor of Comparative Studies and former Center Director, who will present materials from a chapter in his forthcoming book project, The Path of Desire: Living Tantra in Northeast India, based on his research in India from 2000 to 2022.
