<p class="MsoNormal">As folks who have been around a bit know, fall is a crazy season for comics-related stuff on campus. Frederick and I will be in touch soon with information about Sol-Con, Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC) and other events.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">But first, we have a special event coming up soon on September 8th: a workshop run by legendary autobiographical cartoonist <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Tyler">Carol Tyler </a> focused on hands-on “graphic medicine”: the
use of comics as a tool to address illness, trauma, and other health challenges. This is
<i>not</i> a lecture, but a three-hour workshop about telling your own stories through comics. Carol is both a brilliant cartoonist and someone who has thought deeply about <a href="https://www.graphicmedicine.org/carol-tyler-bringing-it-all-back-home/">graphic
medicine</a><o:p></o:p></p>
