[Drupal] Drupal + OSU navbar

Hi everyone.

I'm not particularly strong with CSS, so I could use a hand getting the OSU navbar properly integrated into a research lab's Drupal theme.

The lab (currently) wants to use the Marinelli theme, with some local tweaks.  I'm trying -- mostly unsuccessfully -- to get the navbar included at the top of page.tpl.php for that theme.  You can see the current results here:

If I don't include the navbar reset.css file, I get the Marinelli theme page background, and the navbar shows up with some padding between it and the top of the viewport.

Any guidance folks might be able to provide is greatly appreciated.
