Dear all,

I hope this finds you well. I wanted to share a recently published
issue of *Continuum:
Journal of Media and Cultural Studies*, titled "Archives and Autographics:
Reanimating Diaspora in the Transpacific", which may be of interest to list
members.

Editors Daniella Trimboli and Michel Eliatamby-O'Brien were inspired by
their research in the Australian Multicultural Literary Collection,
established by Emerita Professor Sneja Gunew in the late 1990s. They
invited academics, comics artists and zinemakers to submit work for the
special issue and the results weaves together traditional academic articles
with comics and autoethnographies. There are some superb comics in this
issue by some of Australia's best artists.

My contribution to the special issue - "Autographics as autoethnography:
comic book adventures of a migrant academic" - is a hybrid effort combining
written text with occasional outbursts in comics form.

I hope you enjoy it!

Best wishes,
Can

PS: Due to publishing schedules, while all pieces were published online in
2023, the special issue ended up being Vol 6 of 2022.
