Dear members of the CSS Community,

In order to continue to increase the impact and effectiveness of the CSS
Prizes, we would like to invite CSS members to volunteer as judges for the
2022 awards cycle. This is not only a great way to get involved with the
CSS, but it also ensures that the processes for the selection of the
awardees reflect the values, goals, and diversity of our organization.

We are soliciting two judges from the general CSS Membership for each of
the five Awards Subcommittees. Each member of these Awards Subcommittees
will read submissions independently and then meet as a committee once via
Zoom in order to discuss the top candidates for their prize
category. Judges will be evaluating submissions from March 25th to June
10th, and awardees will be notified by the last week of June. The Awards
Coordinator will also be providing Awards Subcommittees with guidelines to
streamline these processes.
