</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt; color:black">selected as the winner of the Application Paper Prize at the IFAC World Congress this year. This work was actually the first paper he submitted as a faculty member last year in October. </span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">IFAC stands for the “International Federation on Automatic Control” and is one of the main organizations in Joel’s field. The World Congress conference is held once every 3 years (about 3000 participants). The
