I'm sending this due to problems we're having with academic
misconduct.<br>
<br>
You are not allowed to use anyone else's work (notebook, data,
report, Excel<br>
files, etc.). That not only means students presently taking the
class but also<br>
work from students who've previously taken the course. That
includes using<br>
material from the internet (such as Course Hero). That's
plagiarism. You're<br>
not even suppose to use someone else's work as a guide. This is
considered<br>
academic misconduct and has been covered in the syllabus and the
COAM<br>
quiz you took at the start of the semester. We have plenty of
examples and<br>
descriptions of what lab notebooks and reports should look like and
what<br>
should be included in reports.<br>
<br>
You are not allowed to share your work (notebook, data, report,
Excel files, etc.)<br>
with anyone else. This also means putting your work on the internet
for others<br>
to use (such as Course Hero). This is also considered academic
misconduct.<br>
<br>
In addition, you are not allowed to upload any of my notes, practice
exams,<br>
exams, quizzes, pages from the solutions manual, etc. to the
internet or give<br>
them to someone else. On my web pages I have a statement which
states<br>
you can only use the material yourself during the semester in which
you're<br>
taking the course and you can't give them to anyone else, either
this semester<br>
or in the future ("<b>You are not allowed to disseminate this
material to anyone<br>
else during the semester or in the future.</b>"). That would
include uploading<br>
them to the internet for others to use. Plus, since they're
copyrighted that's<br>
technically copyright infringement.<br>
<br>
If this continues it will force me to put them on Box and not allow
them to be<br>
copied or printed, which will make things less convenient for you
and future<br>
students.<br>
