Carmen has been activated.
<br>
<br>
I use Carmen mostly for keeping track of grades and few other
things.
<br>
You'll find lab material there, including pre and post-labs. The
pre-labs
<br>
are actually done at an external site (except for exps 2 & 12
which are<br>
presently quizzes on Carmen) but you can get to them via Carmen.
<br>
I also have links in my syllabus to go to the external site
directly.
<br>
<br>
There is data-entry for as well for 3 exps (5, 14 and 16). You can
get
<br>
to these via links on Carmen, my web page and the syllabus
<br>
<br>
All of this is explained in the syllabus and on my web pages.
<br>
<br>
You will find the publisher's solutions manual for the 10th through
14th
<br>
editions by clicking "Modules" in the menu on the left. Then go to<br>
"Homework (End-of-Chapter Exercises) and Solutions Manuals".<br>
<br>
Try clicking on "Modules" and "Announcements". You can also try the
other
<br>
links in the menu to see what things look like.
<br>
<br>
You will find the "Lab Safety Statement" in the "Laboratory" module.<br>
Get this done before first lab. That will save you time in lab.<br>
<br>
You'll see the "<span class="item_name"><span class="ig-title title
item_link">Check-in and Safety (Gatekeeper) Quiz</span>"</span>.
You can't do this<br>
just yet as mentioned in a previous e-mail due to a mistake in the
answers<br>
to one of the questions. I'll let you know when you can do this.<br>
