I've mentioned this several times on the web page, syllabus, etc.
but I know many of you have not taken our classes before so here
it is one final time.

If you do not finish an exp during a lab period make sure
the TA
still signs your notebook pages and marks incomplete
on the
last page. Then make sure you give the copies to the TA.
Leave
a page or two so you have room for the data you will take in
subsequent periods.

You can finish an experiment during another one of your lab periods.
The report (and post-lab assignment) are due 1 week AFTER you've
FINISHED the exp. We always give 1 week after you've
finished an
exp. to turn in the report. It isn't late at that point and we
don't deduct
points because you didn't finish in the original period. After 1
week the
clock starts ticking in terms of late points (see the syllabus).

Remember, there is an early cutoff date for exps 1-7. You must have
those finished and reports turned in by 5:00 PM on Fri., Mar 9, 5:00
PM
(Mon., Mar 12, for Monday labs). There will be some time at the end
of
the Review/Quiz periods which can be used. There also will be time
during exp 7 lab period to finish some exps. More on that when we
get
closer to that period.

Also, the one-week cutoff still applies, meaning if you wait until
the cutoff
date to turn in reports for exps 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7 on that day they
will be more
than one week late and receive no credit. The only exception would
be
if you finished one of those during the week of Mar 5. Then it
wouldn't
be one week late but you may not have a whole week to turn in the
report,
just until the cutoff date.
