It's been decided that the days and times of the exams can not be
changed<br>
due to scheduling conflicts with other things in the rooms we would
need.<br>
Thus, our exams will occur at the days/time in the syllabus.<br>
<br>
I know this means we have a relatively large number of students with
conflicts<br>
with the Math 1172 class. Here's how this will be handled.<br>
<br>
First, keep in mind Math 1172 also has an alternate exam the Friday
mornings<br>
(8 AM) following the Thursday midterm.<br>
<br>
If you have a conflict you need to go into Carmen and sign up for an
alternate<br>
exam time, unless you plan on taking the alternate exam for Math
1172.<br>
You will need to submit documentation of any conflict. For Math
1172, since<br>
we've seen a syllabus, you must submit a copy of your class
schedule. For<br>
conflicts with other classes you should also submit a copy of your
class<br>
schedule.<br>
<br>
When you log into Carmen go to the "Exams" module. There you will
see a<br>
link, "<span class="item_name"><span class="ig-title title
item_link">Exam Attendance Policy". Go to that link and follow
the directions given.<br>
There are four alternate exam times on Thursday, Feb. 1, the day
of the exam,<br>
<br>
8:00<br>
11:10<br>
4:00<br>
5:30<br>
<br>
You should be signing up for one of these times unless your
class schedule<br>
precludes these times. If you can't make one of these times on
Thursday<br>
your next option should be the Math 1172 alternate on Friday.
If none of those<br>
options work there are two times on Wed. Jan 31. However, you
should NOT<br>
sign up for Wed. unless your schedule doesn't allow you to take
the Chem 1250<br>
alternate at one of the four times on Thursday, Feb. 1, or the
Math 1172 alternate<br>
on Friday, Feb. 2.<br>
<br>
You need to sign up by 11:59 PM, THIS Sunday, Jan. 21. You can
sign up<br>
for ALL three midterms at the same time.<br>
