There is an audio/video presentation of the syllabus on the class
web page (not Carmen).

<a

- Video Presentation

This is a video presentation of the syllabus, as I would normally do
during the first lecture. I actually expanded it and went into a
lot
more detail than I used to do in class since this gives me more time
to discuss the various portions of the syllabus. You are required
to
watch it since I won't be going over the syllabus in lecture, as in
years past. You are responsible for knowing about the various
aspects of the course which are explained in the syllabus. I don't
expect you to have it memorized but know a good portion of what's
there and know you should go to the syllabus first when you have
questions about the course. If you ask me a question which is
answered in the syllabus I will simply tell you to find it there.

This will allow us to save about 40 minutes of class time which we
will be able to use on the course material. You better watch it.
It
took me over 5 hours to create it. It could answer a number of
your questions.
