<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Also on quiz 6, #6 was about calculating E under nonstandard conditions. It was<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">a numerical formula question. A few people wound up with answers that were<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">close to the correct answer but not w/in the margin of error allowed. It turns out<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">they didn’t use the correct expression for the reaction quotient Q. There’s a<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">similar problem on the sample quiz.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">new problems dealing with new material (mostly Ch 21 and 23). Use this to<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">narrow the things you’re still struggling with so you can focus on those. Start w.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">things you just had a little trouble with and leave things you still absolutely don’t<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">understand until the end. Hopefully there won’t be a lot of the latter and thus<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">you won’t have too many questions on the final you would still struggle with.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The final is about 33% new material. The rest is material covered on the first two<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">midterms. The problems are not taken from the exams or practice exams but are<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">similar in content and presentation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
