of the "end" of acid-base chemistry (but you will use some of this <br>
knowledge in the rest of the chapter and later in future chapters). <br>

Understanding acids, bases, buffers and acid-base titrations is important, <br>
not just for our class but organic chemistry and biology related classes. <br>
This is why I spent essentially the last couple of lectures on sections 17.1 <br>
(common ion equilibria), 17.2 (buffers) & 17.3 (titrations). <br>

Titrations pretty much combine much of what we covered in chapter 16 <br>
and sections 17.1-17.2 in one problem. Up through 17.1 will be on <o:p></o:p></span></p>
