<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">for which you work out the answer and type it in. Do
<b><span style="color:red">NOT</span></b><span style="color:red"> </span>use scientific notation. The OSU version<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">of Canvas (Carmen) doesn’t use sci. not. Do
<b><span style="color:red">NOT</span></b> use units for these two questions. The questions<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">will tell you how many decimal places to use. Be careful typing the number in and check the number<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">before clicking on the Next button. We will not go back and give credit for not following directions<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">(e.g. putting in the incorrect # of decimal places).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Take a break now before the exam and relax. You won’t learn anything useful between now and 4<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">(technically you don’t really learn much that’s useful the day of the exam that will help). Stay calm and<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">don’t let it throw you if you can’t answer a question. You get about 2.5 minutes per question on average.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Some will take more time and some will take less. You can’t spend too much time on a question. If it’s<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">a multiple-choice calculation question and you don’t get an answer that’s there just redo the calculation<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">being more careful. If you get the same answer you did previously take a quick look to see if you can find<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">your mistake. If not and you’ve already spent a fair amount of time on the question you may just have to<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">take a guess and move on. Remember, you can’t move backward in the exam. Do NOT leave any<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">question unanswered before moving on to the next question.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">bigger and it will make it easier to see things. Use your iPad for your scratch work. Try to use a<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">direct connection to the internet if you can (rather than WiFi) for the exam.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
