<p class="MsoPlainText">July 4th is on a Sunday and the following Monday, July 5<sup>th</sup>, is a university holiday.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">This means we will lose a lecture. I would also like to be able to use the very<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">last lecture (the Friday before our Tuesday final) as a review and not give new<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">material, or at least not a lot, that day. This means we have a couple of choices<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">to make up for the "lost" time.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Let me give the following scenarios. If anyone objects to either or both of these<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">option 1: Meet the scheduled time 10:30-12:15 and just go a little<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText"> I don’t think going even faster than I would have to if we<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">option 2: add 5 extra minutes to the end of each lecture, ending at 12:20<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">I prefer option #2. We don't have to try to cram even more material into each<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">lecture and I might be able to get things done to use the last lecture, or at least<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">part of it, as a review. Otherwise our review would be Sunday two days before<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">the final.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Plus remember, I have pre-recorded lectures in Carmen and will be posting the<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Zoom lectures so if you had to miss those extra 5 min at the end you’ll still be<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">able to view it later. It also means I could give a few minutes about halfway<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">through lecture to take a quick 7<sup>th</sup>-inning stretch.
