<p class="MsoNormal">I heard back from the Pearson rep. If you’re having trouble getting into Mastering<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">you can get temporary 2-week free access. On the screen where it asks you to<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">enter an Access Code or pay at the bottom you’ll see a link for temporary access.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">They’ve told me this won’t cause any problems once you visit their office hours<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">and get an access code. Don’t forget to do that.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I forgot it could apply to people who already bought access in a previous<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">semester. I’m checking with the Pearson rep to see if people who’ve had<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">previous access can use it. If it works it will give everyone a little time to<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">get things straightened out. I probably won’t hear back from them until<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’m getting quite a few e-mails about people having trouble getting into Mastering,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">particularly from people who took 1210 or 1220 in the spring. I don’t have a code<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">to give out or a course ID. I’ve been told to send students to the Pearson reps, via<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">the Zoom office hours. Unfortunately, those appear to not start until Thursday.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve contacted our school rep to see if there’s something that can be done before<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">then.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">See if you can get back into your 1210 or old 1220 course so you can at least get<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">access to the eText. The only thing for credit in Mastering this week is the Ch 11<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">review which isn’t due until 11:59 PM Sat.<o:p></o:p></p>
