We are using MasteringChemistry for on-line homework.

I suggest you do the "assigned" end-of-chapter problems (see my
web page) and then do the on-line problems as a review for the
quiz. You could also do it the other way around. I try to limit
the
number of on-line problems but you need to do a lot of problems if
you hope to do well.

In order to best keep track of due dates in MC you want to set it
up in calendar view. It makes it much easier to see what's due and
when.

What's due this week.

Not for credit:

"Intro to MasteringChemistry" ("due" Fri, 8/23, 11:59
PM)
"Chemistry Primer" ("due" Fri, 8/23,
11:59 PM)
"Intro to DSMs" ("due" Sat, 8/24,
11:59 PM)
"Key Math Skills" ("due" Sat, 8/24,
11:59 PM)

You really want to do the first one if you've never used MC. It
will show
you how to use MC and what format to use when entering numbers.
The primer is a review of several things from 1210. Even if you
missed
the "due" date for these you can still do them. They're just for
practice.
The Ch11 set was moved back since some people have had
trouble getting
into MC.
"Chapter 11 review" (11 pts, due Sun, 8/25, 11:59 PM)
The following are problems dealing with material from last
week and for
quiz 1 next week.

"Chapter 13a (13.2, 13.4) Tutorials" (due Sat., 8/31, 11:59
PM)
"Chapter 13b (13.1) Tutorials" (due Sat., 8/31, 11:59 PM)
"Chapter 13a (13.2, 13.4) Homework Review" (due Sat., 8/31,

"Chapter 13a (13.2, 13.4) Homework Review" (due Sat., 8/31,
11:59 PM)

I'll send some more info about MC soon. You need to check it often
to see
what's there and when they're due. I would say to check every day
to see what's
new. I won't usually announce when the problems have gone up or
when they're
due. The best way to view things is in Calendar format. This makes
it much
easier to see due dates.
