Carmen has been activated. <br>
<br>
I use Carmen mostly for keeping track of grades and few other
things. <br>
You'll find lab material there, including pre and post-labs. The
pre-labs <br>
are actually done at an external site but you can get to them via
Carmen. <br>
There is data-entry for the FPD exp. You can get to it via links on
Carmen, <br>
my web page and the syllabus. This is explained in the syllabi and
my <br>
web pages.<br>
<br>
Try clicking on "Modules" and "Announcements". You can also try the<br>
other links in the menu to see what things look like. <br>
<br>
There are several mandatory quizzes. You can find them in the<br>
"Introduction" module. There's other useful information in this
module.<br>
<br>
You'll want to purchase the eText and MasteringChemistry via Carmen.<br>
<br>
You will find the publisher's solutions manual for the 11th through
14th <br>
editions by clicking "Modules" in the menu on the left. Then go to<br>
"Homework (End-of-Chapter Exercises) and Solutions Manuals".<br>
<br>
You will find the "Lab Safety Statement" in the "Laboratory" and the<br>
"Introduction" modules. It's the same thing in each location. Get
this<br>
done before the first lab. That will save you time in the check-in
lab.<br>
<br>
You'll see the "<span class="item_name"><span class="ig-title title
item_link">Check-in and Safety (Gatekeeper) Quiz</span>"</span>.
This needs to<br>
be done by 11:59 PM on Aug. 25th.<br>
