There's ch 14 tutorial and homework review sets covering sections
14.5-14.7 that<br>
are due by 11:59 PM on Tuesday, 9/18. However, you really need to
finish these<br>
as a review by Sunday.<br>
<br>
The quiz keys for all the quizzes are posted on our class web page
(not Carmen).<br>
<br>
There are blank quizzes there as well. My suggestion is you take a
quiz from<br>
another day (Tuesday recitation take Thursday quiz and vice versa).
Give yourself<br>
about 15 minutes instead of the normal 18 since you've already seen
the questions.<br>
<br>
The practice exams are on Carmen. There's 7 of them. The first two
listed are the<br>
midterms from Sp18 and Au17. The others are practice exams from
Au17.<br>
<br>
I've put the one which was my practice exam on my class web page as
well at the<br>
"<a
href="https://asc.ohio-state.edu/zellmer.1/chem1220/pexams/pexam_1220.htm"
moz-do-not-send="true">Practice Exams</a>" link. The first
several questions are actually from ch 11. I've listed<br>
which questions to do (8-30) in what amount of time. Questions 1-7
cover material<br>
from chapters 11 and 12. This material will be on the final.<br>
<br>
I've supplied worked out solutions and explanations for all the
questions on the<br>
practice exam which was mine on my class web page. You need to
scroll down the page<br>
a little to find those. These are included in the exam packet on
Carmen corresponding to<br>
my practice exam.<br>
<br>
I've also listed which questions to do on the other practice exams
and how much time<br>
to give yourself, essentially a little less than 2.5 minutes per
question. Ideally you<br>
should cover all the material first and then take these practice
exams as if they were<br>
the real thing. Print an exam and take it in a setting where you
won't be disturbed and<br>
turn off notifications on your phone (better yet, put it away). At
the very least, take 3 of<br>
the 7 practice exams as if they were the real thing and work the
problems on the other 4.<br>
Try to get some of these done before the review on Sunday. Have at
least one timed<br>
exam done before then. Try to get these finished no later than
Monday so you have<br>
enough time to fix any lingering questions.<br>
<br>
Don't forget, we have a review, Sunday, 9/16, 2-4 PM in 1008 EL.<br>
