You should now have access to Carmen. As I said in the link in the
welcome e-mail I sent, I mainly use this for keeping track of your
grades.
However, there are a few other things for which you will need to use
Carmen.

1) There are two MANDATORY quizzes you need to take on Carmen or
you may not pass the course.

1) Academic Misconduct (COAM) quiz

2) Syllabus Quiz - read the syllabus or have it handy (you
can find it
on line at
my course web page or in Carmen)

Syllabus - M,W,F 10:30-11:45 AM

These quizzes are MANDATORY and you must get 100% on each one or you
won't pass the course. You MUST complete these before midnight
Wednesday,
June 14, 2017 (the Wed. of the 1st full week of the semester, next
week).

I'm working right now on an audio/visual version of the syllabus
that I hope to
finish and have up by sometime tomorrow. In that, I go into much
more detail
about the class than I could possible do in lecture w/o using more
than one
lecture. You might want to wait to take the quiz until after
viewing this.

There is also the Lab Safety Statement and Gatekeeper Quiz which
must be
done by Monday, June 12, or you won't be allowed in lab or have
access to
the pre-labs and post-labs.

You will also need to use Carmen to access the pre-lab and post-lab
assignments.
