Hi CaCLers,

Just learned of an online talk being given this afternoon by Steven Piantadosi (UC Berkeley) arguing that domain-general program-learning models rapidly discover deep properties of natural language syntax (e.g. context-freeness) from positive evidence alone: https://aovivo.abralin.org/lives/steven-piantadosi/. This might be of interest for those of working on language learning, grammar induction, or syntax.

Best,
Cory
