[CaCL] cacl this week: lab meeting

I attach Bob's bibliography on functional explanations for island
constraints. Nominations are now open for which one we want to read.

I'll also give my vote for any small, tractable piece of the thesis Mike
(and Daniel) discussed from Synners. Maybe we can read the abstract and
conclusions? Maybe Daniel can recycle his presentation for us?
