Is Oxygen in Short Supply?
The National Aquaculture Association (NAA) is seeking information as to the availability of oxygen to US aquaculture.

As a collateral effect of the surge in COVID infections, early reports indicate oxygen providers are controlling the availability of oxygen to commercial users.  If you are experiencing reduced supply or a have received a notice from your supplier(s) to that effect, please contact the NAA Office to briefly describe your circumstances. Information needed includes:

  1.  Do you use compressed or liquid oxygen?
  2.  When were you notified?
  3.  Will your supply be reduced or stopped?
  4.  Will a reduction or stoppage endanger your livestock?
  5.  If so what are you growing?
  6.  If your supply was stopped, what is the timeframe until your livestock would be endangered?
  7.  Do you have alternative sources of supply?

Your information will be held confidential.  Our intent is to develop an oxygen supply summary that will not reference farms or businesses. And, if necessary, petition for a food production priority.
