we have a CDC infographic that helps to break down blood pressure control with some alarming statistics. The good news is that by controlling blood pressure we can significantly reduce our risk for stroke, coronary heart disease and death from cardiovascular
disease. Americans have plenty of room for improvement too. Only about 47% of individuals with high blood pressure have their condition under control. Take time this month to talk to a colleague or loved one about how to better control high blood pressure.

<li><font face="Arial">1 ripe avocado, peeled and diced</font></li><li><font face="Arial">1 cup ripe mango, chopped</font></li><li><font face="Arial">1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped</font></li><li><font face="Arial">1/2 cup red onion, chopped</font></li><li><font face="Arial">1/3 cup pumpkin seeds, roasted - *<i>May Superfood!</i>* </font></li><li><font face="Arial">Juice of 1 lime, about 2 tbsp</font></li><li><font face="Arial">2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil</font></li><li><font face="Arial">Salt and pepper to taste</font></li><li><font face="Arial">1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped</font></li></ul>
