<p class="MsoNormal">Michael C. Conglose Sr., 93, of 115 Mission Meade Drive passed away the morning of Oct. 4, 2013, at the Overlook Medical Clinic in New Wilmington. Born April 20, 1920, in Hillsville, he was a son of Giovanni Battista and Dorotea Graziano
Cangialosi. He was preceded in death on Feb. 10, 2009, by his wife of 62 years, Gloria Marie Liberatore Conglose, whom he married June 22, 1946. Michael was a 1938 graduate of New Castle High School and a 1954 graduate of Youngstown State University, where
he received his degree in economics and business administration. He served his country for five years during World War II, serving in the Army Air Forces as a private first class. Michael was employed as an insurance agent and a teacher. He was a member of
St. Camillus Church. Family was his true love in life. He dedicated his time to his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by two sons, John "Buddy" (Denise) Conglose of Massillon, Ohio, and Michael C. (Joan) Conglose Jr. of New Castle; two daughters,
Gloria J. (Robert) Scarazzo of Fresno, Calif., and Michele S. (Gary) Gatto of South Burlington, Vt.; one brother, James Conglose of Athens, Ga.; six grandchildren, Robert M. Scarazzo, Kristie Haydu, Damian Conglose, Jenna M. Copper, Michael J. Conglose and
John C. Conglose; and one great-grandchild, Gianna Marie Copper. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, John, Carmen and Frank Conglose, and one sister, Angela Schiavane. Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, Oct. 10, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for St. Camillus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. The Rev. Thomas Lewandowski
will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael C. Conglose Sr. Scholarship at YSU, Office of University Development, One University Plaza, Youngstown, Ohio, 44555. The obituary may be viewed and online
