Good Evening, Folks,

Thanks to all those who came to the Tuesday meeting, thank you and I hope you saw we are definitely getting a lot smoother! To those who couldn't make it, we cast 2 stadium tree molds in addition to the custom casting that Nathan designed. We also used the induction furnace for the first time at CDME which makes things much faster. Things are starting to come together more and more each time at CDME.

Just wanted to send a reminder that we are touring Fisher Cast Steel next Thursday, 11/10 and if you would like to go, please reply to me directly from this email and state whether you need a ride, can give a ride, or would be fine with either. Watching steel castings is a whole different ball game compared to aluminum and I am personally really excited to see it for the first time. There is no cost, and any professor would be more than happy to work with you if you have to miss a class. We will go in the morning, and it will just be a couple of hours.

Please respond to this email by 3:00pm today as Fisher wants to get a number of people going by the end of the day. Even if you replied to the groupme poll, we need a response to this email, so we know the carpool situation. If people already responded to this, then you are good.

The tour is at 9am and will be 1-2 hours.

Hello everyone,

I have received the information regarding the scholarships that AFS will be distributing. The information is in the attachments, but if you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Our next (and final) meeting of the semester will be held on Tuesday, November 29th at 5:30. This meeting will be held at Fontana, and I will send out details about which room when it is booked. We will be holding elections for next semester on this date. We need to have a president, vice president, and treasurer on file as a university club. If there is a higher demand of interest in being an officer, more positions could open and be filled.

If you are interested in being an officer next semester, please email me the position you would like to run for, so that we can have it organized prior to the meeting. We will be ordering pizza again for this gathering. Even if you do not intend to run for a position, please attend and vote!

We look forward to seeing everyone, and hope you enjoy the long weekend.
