Thanks for raising the topic, Rich.  Moving to the new EDS UI was on the backburner here because of staff changes and anecdotes about the new UI needing more polish.  We discussed transitioning this coming fall, but didn’t consider the impact a new ILS may have.

Unless a transition to the new UI is pretty seamless, I’m not crazy about the idea of changing our discovery experience twice over just a few years.  I think it makes sense to wait until we hear which ILS we’re committing to

We've been investigating the new EBSCO EDS user interface. For those of you that have the EBSCO EDS and haven't migrated yet to the new UI, I'm curious: Does your library have plans to do so, and if so, do you know when you would do so?

One of our concerns regards the OhioLINK ILS migration project, specifically, whether it's worth migrating to the new UI next academic year, when there's the possibility of having a new Discovery Layer within the next couple of years or so. Library instructors, for example, would have to redesign any resources they've created on how to use the EBSCO EDS, etc.
