will hold its first Virtual Roundtable this Friday, April 15, starting at 9
a.m.

The schedule is below.

1st Session:
Library reorganization and its effects on Acquisitions operations
Moderator: Cara Calabrese
- What effects has library restructuring had on Acquisitions?
-   What new challenges have resulted in Acquisitions as a result of
reorganization/restructuring?
-   What changes, if any, have occurred in how Acquisitions interacts with
Technical Services, Collection Management, E-Resources etc., from
reorganization efforts?

2nd Session:
Challenges in library positions related to Acquisitions work
Moderator: Frank Bove
To what extent have library personnel been assigned tasks related to
Acquisitions in addition to other duties?
-   Have new Acquisitions positions been advertised? Or, have positions
been lost?
-   How do Acquisitions and Accounts Payable personnel interact? Have there
been any changes?
-   How is Acquisitions’ work and functions presented to campus
communities, library colleagues (e.g., those in Collection Management)?

3rd Session:
Budgetary issues as they pertain to Acquisitions
Moderator: Stephanie Church
-   How have changes in materials budgets affected Acquisitions work?
-   What tools or methodologies have Acquisitions personnel adopted or
utilized to address budget matters (e.g., any accounting software in lieu
of/in addition to Sierra Acquisitions module)?
-   What changes have occurred with Standing Orders, DDA AND EBA programs,
Purchase-on-Demand, Subscriptions, etc.?
